    Four months later, I’m still waiting on my refund. If you want to actually receive a service, don’t book with them—they are really not worth the hassle. I’m relieved that their incompetence hasn’t left me stranded and that my only concern is getting my refund.

    My spouse is being disconnected from customer service, and they are leaving me on hold without responding. Unfortunately, to resolve this, I will need to file a more formal complaint with the transportation department and any other agencies that may be involved. It’s simply unacceptable to ignore the problem and end the call with customers when they made a refund promise to my wife.

    I’ve previously heard that this airline frequently cancels flights. Engineering issues are the usual justification. When will they make this right? Anyway, this is what I finally experience. The last-minute cancellation is annoying. Your hotel reservation and all of your plans were impacted. This airline is not something I’d suggest.

    During our check-in time at the Manila airport, my family and I encountered this type of subpar service from Philippines Airlines for the first time. Limited seating options despite paying extra fees for early check-in updates on flight status.

    Since the reservation, there have been three flight changes, three seat changes, and two delays that have extended the two-hour stopover in one of the worst airports in the world to six hours. I twice paid more for a better seat, but both times I was moved to the restroom and I didn’t get a refund. Each person must pass through security three times. Extremely chaotic boarding, with people pushing and shoving and making incorrect announcements. The airline was completely unorganized. No excuses were offered.

    Every time I’ve flown with PAL, there has been a significant delay. We missed our connection due to the previous delay, which lasted more than four hours. We had to wait more than seven hours for a new flight as a result of this lost connection. The most awful aspect of all was their lack of concern. If I had no other option, I would only take flights with PAL once more.
