The entire plane made help pleas, which were totally disregarded by the staff. After turning on all of the orange lights, they did so without helping anyone. They dumped a significant amount of water on me and didn’t seem to care!

But the flights are very long and exhausting. Passengers were provided with a variety of meals, good-quality service, and tasty meals during their flight. There were very uneven landings but safe takeoffs.

The wheelchair service on this airline disappointed me. My right leg had surgery, so while I was able to move around a little with physiotherapy, I still had trouble walking and needed wheelchair assistance at airports. For this reason, we had requested wheelchair service. I asked for wheelchair assistance at the Addis Ababa airport, and they said they would provide one. However, they later informed me that there would not be a wheelchair available and that I would be helped to board the aircraft; I would have to walk to the aircraft on my own. I am really appreciative that wheelchairs were available and the service at the OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg was first-rate upon my arrival. The flights on Ethiopian Airlines were alright overall.

The requirement that we purchase our tickets for travel to and from the destination on the same airline made us afraid and made us buy Ethiopian tickets right away. We chose to break the rule because I had never heard of it before and could not find any information about it. Without any issues, we managed to return with a different company. Everything was OK, just saying hello to the supervisor.

They insist on telling me that it’s being traced. I also wouldn’t suggest that someone flying with a baby do so. Although I purchased a seat for my infant, unlike other airlines, she did not receive any packages containing baby food or toiletries. Their cuisine was appalling. The cabin crew lacked friendliness. I will never, ever fly them again.

We are grateful to the flight attendants for being courteous, cheerful, and always willing to help.
