Although a little narrow, the seats were decent and Cathay Pacific Airways offered excellent service. The main problem was that I left my phone on the plane, and even though I showed customer service the tracker showing it was still on the aircraft, they kept claiming they would return it but never did. Not the best business class experience.

Although the flight went well, handling them is a nightmare. We ate the worst food I’ve ever had while sitting in first class economy. She never smiled, and good luck getting anything you asked for—the service was that poor. I used to really love this airline. It was a huge hassle, so I told them to keep them even though they never received our miles when I called for them and received such poor treatment. I just want to say that we were really disappointed with the service, even though we paid extra for Premium Economy.

My first flight on Cathay Pacific. I admit that it was my fault for not realizing there were different Economy classes, but I never would have imagined that there would be a budget class on a long-haul flight. Light Economy was what I was in. Because the seats are so tiny and essentially have no legroom, everyone’s arms were over lapped. There is so little room that you can hardly finish your meal. It is utterly repugnant that this option is available for a lengthy flight.

Terrible customer service. They do not help when you are in a jam because of a flight delay. I missed my connecting flight because Cathay Pacific left 2 hours late. The trip ended up costing me an extra $1000 because we were stuck in EWR for 4 hours and had to re-purchase tickets. They gave me a measly $50 credit to buy another ticket. I will not fly Cathay Pacific again if I can avoid it. I will not make the mistake of flying with this horrible service again. The least they could do is refund me the money I lost because of them. But no, the only thing they care about is their business class customers. 2nd class is a nobody to them.
